Song: Children of the Universe
Performer: Molly Smitten-Downes
The United Kingdom is back on track. After sending well-known singers with average songs for years, they have chosen to goo for a good song and an unknown singer this year. And when it comes to Eurovision, thee song and performance is more important than the name of the person(s) on stage.
Children of the Universe is a powerful pop anthem with elements of singalong lyrics and a nice rhythm. It is one of the most modern songs of the year, and will score well among the juries in western Europe. If this still was a western European competition, I’d say it would be one of the favourites to win.
Strong contender for the top-5, and a possible winner.
